I can't even remember when I started it, but I think it was about two years ago, but I have to say that it was probably laying in my closet for a year.
Because of the OPaMC I joined, I pulled it out and realized that I only had three more rows to quilt, so the last three days I was working on that. Yesterday afternoon I pulled out all the remaining fabrics which I used in that project (not much left) and cut the binding, and than after Caiden was in bed I finished it completly!
What a good feeling! I'm so proud. Even though the quilting is really poor! I hate quilting. On a small project it might be ok doing machine quilting with a regular sewing machine, but this was a throw quilt, so it was no fun at all, and I decided to do a kind of weired quilting pattern on it, so I had to finished it like that too.
So I renamed the quilt from Storm at the sea, to Don't look at my quilting!
But the overall look turned out good, and I still love the bright colors I used. It was all made in Foundation piecing, which was awesome for this pattern.
Now I only have to think about what I'm gonna do with it. Should I hang it up, or really use it as a blanket???
