In a split second Caiden was standing right next to Chris, and then he fell and hit the corner of the bed, right beside his eye. I thought it was split open and he would need stitches. But luckily it was just swollen and turned kind of blue (I didn't make any pictures, I don't want to scare you away ;-) ) But he looks like he got in a fight. I think it will be all black and blue tomorrow. I'm really happy that nothing more happend, but I think sooner and later we are not gonna be so lucky, I just hope it's not gonna be super bad.
I guess that is the way it is when you have a little boy...
Here are some pictures of him with his new favorite toy, the laundry basket... he likes to climb in and out of it and sit in it. and my three loved ones cuddling in bed, Caiden always wants to hug and kiss his sister and sometimes he gets to excited and we have to stop him, but it seems like he loves her very much. Little Caleigh is doing good, she have some gas issues mostly at night, which gives me some sleepless hours, but besides that she is doing well, she already got some cheeks and I can't wait to see her first smile!
When it comes to me, I have to be honest, I had better times, I feel sometimes really overwhelmed, when Caiden throws a fit (and he can do a lot and really good and dramatic ones) Caleigh cries and I just don't know what should I do first, I feel there is always so much to do and it never ends.
I also have big issues with my weight. I know I just had a baby three weeks ago and I'm not Heidi Klum or any other celebrety who looks great right after birth, but for somebody who never have to worry about weight it's depressing when nothing fits anymore and you still wear maternity pants and the shirts from your husband.
But we made a trip to the YMCA today and we will sign up for that as soon as Caleigh is 6 weeks old. They have a awesome pool with a huge play area at the water is 88 F so really nice for kids to play in. The offer toddler gymnastic classes, which I think is great for my little monkey. And swimming classes for babies and toddlers. They also have free childcare so I can workout. The Childcare Area looked great and everything was just nice. So I'm really looking forward to that.
