auch mal was fuer Jungs..

Ich hab die Woche mal aussortiert in den Schraenken der Kinder und festgestellt das Caiden aus fast allem rausgewachsen ist. T-Shirts hat er noch ein paar, aber Pullis ist er auf 8 runtergeschrumpft. Deswegen hab ich mich endlich mal aufgerafft und auch einen Pulli fuer ihn genaeht.

Der Schnitt ist eine Imke aus dem Buch Sewing clothes kids love. Mit Lagenlook an den Armen.

Eigentlich wollte ich eine Stickerei drauf machen, hab aber irgendwie nichts gefunden, das cool genug gewesen waere.. fuer Jungs ist das irgendwie schwierig. Aber ich hatte noch ein Stueck altes Jaegermeister T-shirt mit dem "Achtung Wild" schriftzug. Dazu noch Caiden's Lieblingstier, das Hippo und das Shirt war ein TrefferEr hat mir heute abend schon gesagt, er moechte es morgen fuer die Schule anziehen und es seiner Lehrerin zeigen.. na dann ;-)

Fuer Caleigh hab ich noch ein Tanktop mit selbstgemachter Borduere angefangen, aber bei den Traegern hab ich irgendwas falsch gemacht, da musste ich noch mal auftrennen.. Fortsetzung folgt..

Und hier noch unser Patient des Tages. Am Donnerstag kam Linus nachts nach Hause mit zugeschwollenen Auge nach Hause.. Er war wohl ( mal wieder ) in einen Katzenkampf verwickelt. Gestern war das Auge unveraendert geschwollen, er konnte es zwar wieder aufmachen, aber es sah irgendwie uebel aus.Ich hab ihn mir dann mal genauer angeschaut und leider hat sich der kratzer uebern Auge entzuendet und war voller Eiter... Ich habs soweit verarztet, aber heute abend war es schon wieder voll... Wenn es bis morgen keine Besserung zeigt, werd ich ihn wohl zum Tierarzt bringen.. Ansonsten geht es ihm soweit gut, er frisst und benimmt sich ganz normal.. nur aus dem Haus will er nicht mehr so.. scheinbar war er der Verlierer..

Caiden und Nina machen Jagd auf Linus... vielleicht seht ihr seine eine Pfote unter dem Bett..

Caiden hat von seinem Grandpa eine Giftcard von Walmart gekriegt, wir haben ihm davon einen Laptop und ein Handy gekauft LOL natuerlich diese Kinderversion von Laptop
und das Cellphone. Bei dem Laptop war ich etwas verunsichert. Die hatten noch eins fuer groessere Kinder, aber da war der Bildschirm total winzig.. also haben wir dann doch das fuer kleinere Kinder genommen. Zumindest heute abend war das der Renner.
Und die Buecherei hatte ein Einsehen mit mir und hat nun alle Baende der Twilight Saga auf CD. Momentan hoere ich jetzt Buch 2 New Moon und Buch drei hab ich mir reservieren lassen. Ausserdem hat Chris sich die komplette Lesung von Lord of the Rings geholt.. bei uns wird momentan nur gehoert...

Und hier noch ein Bild von der kleinen Miss LOL... in Verpackung. Ich hab heute so gelacht, dass ich zwei ganz kraeftige Wehen hatte, ich glaube wenn Chris weiter Witze gerissen haette, waere mir noch die Fruchtblase geplatzt... mein ganzer Bauch hat gewackelt.. danach hab ich einige Protesttritte bekommen... Langsam reicht es aber wirklich mit dem Wachsen... ich fuehl mich furchtbar unbeweglich ich kann mich kaum noch buecken, die Kugel ist dauernd im Weg... Ach ja eine meiner Neujahrsvorsaetze wird sein mind. 25 kg abzunehmen... ich wiege momentan 74 kg... das ist echt soviel wie noch nie!!! *schaem* naja die ersten 10 kg duerften nach der Geburt kein Problem sein..

Und zu guter letzt hier noch der Dezember AMC Sketch aus dem PW Forum... die Sterne gefallen mir besonders gut! Ich bin schon auf den Januar Sketch gespannt

Babyblanky and Linus

I just have to share this picture of my goofy cat with you.. I love the expression on his face, because I finally caught it in a picture. He love to lay there upstairs, safe for Caiden, who for some weired reason calls Linus ABE, which is maybe from the german word for Cat Katze, but he does it all the time, as soon as he sees Linus he yells ABE and tries to get him... and I tell you Linus is not really pleased by that. So he loves that spot upstairs, where he can stick his head between the bars and have a great overview into the living room.

Sometimes it seems to me, as he looks down and thinks: what the hell are these weired people doing down there?? Also made this swaddle Babyblanket. I had really good experinces with swaddleing with Caiden, even though first I thought it was absolutly weired to wrap your baby up like a sausage, but as a matter of fact, when we started to do swaddling Caiden started to sleep so much better and in less than two weeks he slept through the night at the age of 3 month. So I will use that for the little lady as well, but this blanky is for somebody else who is expecting.

Ever since we lost our Lucy-cat, Linus has changed a lot, he stays more home, when he goes outside, he is always arround the house, and comes when I call.
He was always the one who didn't care much about Nina's craziness, but since Lucy is gone, they became almost friends. He is ok with her arround, and sometimes, when Nina licks him, he seems to enjoing that. But today he shocked me. Nina was laying there, sleeping and he went over to her and lay right next to her, pushed his face in her coat and started purring big time. It was too cute, I watched it for a while, completly amazed and then I went and got my camera, they both looked up to me, but still were laying together..

So I guess you can learn to love each other... it happend in our House.... I wonder how often I will get to see this, but it was so cute. I also worked a little bit on my pink heart quilt, here are three of the blogs I made yesterday night.

I also finished one of the big blogs, but I can't show you this one, because it has the name from the littly girl who will recieve it on it. And maybe I will be done by christmas.. but no promises.. I also finished one stocking, and hopefully will finish the other two ones in the next couple days.

Caiden and I went to the playgroup today but it was crazy again. I don't really like that turn what the group had taken in the last couple days, but I guess there is not a whole lot I can do about it. I just don't like that there are so many older kids there right now. The group was supposed to be limited for kids not older than 18 month. But today there were even 3 years old. I don't mind when older kids are arround Caiden, as long as the parents are responsible for them. I don't blame the kids, running arround, climbing on stuff and even sometimes throwing things, but the Mom's should watch them and take care that the little kids don't get hurt. Today was a grandma with her two grandchildren age 2,5 and 4 years and a babysitter kid 3,5 years old and all what she did was taking videos with her phone. Caiden is not a sure walker yet, he still prefers to crawl and he also needs a while to get use to the crowd and noise arround him, and he needs even longer when so many older kids are running arround.

He still loves to go there, I do so too, I like to learn stuff from the teachers, I like to chat with the other moms to talk about problems and so on, but right now I don't know if I want to go back there, if it's continue to be like that, I don't see a reason to got there anymore. Caiden was hanging on my legs most of the time today and was to shy and scared to go and play.

I know I should probably get over that, but I think that Caiden can't learn anything from these kids because they hit, they push and they don't care about the little kids who can't walk or talk yet, so they just get pushed out of the way and the moms don't even care. The last time I had to go and have to explain one of the older boys that he has to take care, because they were Caiden and an other little one playing on the floor and he was throwing things. The teatcher told him also, but it didn't seem to bother him much and his mom was writing text messages the whole time.

So we will see, I would love to keep going and I think it's good for Caiden to be with other kids and I do like the program, I just wish they would be more strict about the age.

Our Thanksgiving

So wir waren ja dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal ohne Gaeste, deswegen haben wir keinen ganzen Turkey gemacht, sondern Cornish Hens. Das Rezept hab ich hier. Es war sehr lecker, dazu gab es Honey carrots und Kartoffelbrei. Caiden haben vor allem die Karotten und der Kartoffelbrei geschmeckt.

Chris hat es so gut geschmeckt, dass er auch das letzte Fleisch runtergeschlutzt hat.
Nina und Linus haben ganz geduldig drauf gewartet, dass ich das letzte Fleisch vom Gerippe gekratzt habe... dann hatten auch sie ihr Thanksgiving Menu!

Als Nachtisch hab ich einen Apfelkuchen gebacken, den nehmen wir nachher mit zu Charlie und Stephanie und werden dort die Kids einfach rumspringen lassen und wenn vielleicht die Kinder uns lassen, vielleicht noch ein Spiel spielen...
